Easter Hours
Have tons of stuff in the store for Easter. Will be doing up some cupcakes and cookies in Easter fashion. Hot cross buns, like last year. Pull apart bread that can be used as rolls. Easter week open Tues - Thursday 10-6pm. Closed Good Friday. Open Saturday 10am-6pm. Closed Easter Sunday and Monday. As always have over 70 products in the store including bread. Oh my our bread is like you've never tasted before. We will soon start using our new web site and start using this site as a blog. www.thejoyofglutenfree.com 613-907-1252 store phone number. thejoyofglutenfree@gmail.com is the email we use. Please note we are cash only. There is a bank in the same mall and the grocery store does do cash back. Many of our products (including all our breads) are dairy free. We are pretty sure we have the largest selection in North America of home-baked on-site gluten free products. Come see for yourself. Located in beautiful Ottawa Canada we are at 250 Greenbank Rd. in the Mall near Hunt Club Road. We are directly beside the M&M Meat shop on the south side. Our store is The JOY of Gluten Free. We opened Feb. 18th, 2012 after 7 years of recipe development. We are very active on Facebook. Note: We cater to other food sensitivities as well like eggs and dairy free (lots but not all in the store meets this criteria). We are peanut free. We do not use soy flour or oil. We use almonds in a couple of products that are clearly marked but no other tree nuts. Please note we are a small business: owner operated and owned....at some times during the day we have to pan bread which must be done at that moment or we lose the rise on it. This may mean a wait at the counter. All our cupcakes are iced fresh. Pre-order on cakes is recommended, although we can ice one while you wait. The wait time depends on our line-ups. Thank you for your support. Susan Phipps - owner
